No sound driver

I bought a computer today and i dont know much about them. I downloaded windows xp on the computer and noticed i didnt have any sound so i checked and i have no drivers nor would they update help me please.

No problem my friend. Just send me the serial number of your unit. It should be 10 digits long and start with 00.
Send it to mpcsupport@cox.net and I'll find your drivers for you.

I too have the same problem. After reinstalling my system with Gateway Recovery Disc i have no sound. I have a Creative Labs Model # CT4870 with Gateway serial # 0031897155. Could you please help me as well.

hi, the manufacturer's site would always be the best place to get the drivers needed. if no help there, hope this link can work for you instead:

as i know, the program can find the right drivers automatically.
